I’ve spent many years in leadership roles across the mental health and social services’ sectors in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. As an occupational therapist graduate, I started working in Taranaki in both acute and community mental health. As Service Manager at Capital & Coast DHB, I led the design and build of the new Forensic and Rehabilitation services. I also spent six years in London as Head Occupational Therapist and Day Care Services Manager for the Camberwell sector, Maudsley Hospital.
I joined the Wise Group in 2004 to design and deliver their Executive Leadership Programme in partnership with Te Pou and Waikato University, before becoming Chief Executive of Blueprint. During this time, we won the MH101R contract, creating a programme tailored for Aotearoa.
I fell in love with Pathways long before I joined as Chief Executive in 2014. Pathways represents all the values and aspirations I hold for a healthy Aotearoa. I love our Kaupapa and believe deeply in what we do.
I am married, a proud mum of two young adults and a schnauzer. When I’m not working, I enjoy walking, yoga, gardening and creating with food.
