Why work with us
Pathways lives and breathes our purpose, where work-life balance is encouraged, people are valued and new solutions are the norm. Our spirit of Ahakoa te aha powers us every day. Our kaimahi receive generous leave entitlements, benefits and opportunities and are surrounded by amazing people every day.
We’re here to do everything we can to support tāngata whai ora to live full lives; hopeful and connected to what matters to them. We also work to strengthen whānau. We’re about hope and respect and providing personalised support that changes as people’s needs change.
We’re committed to working in a trauma informed way, recognising the impact trauma may have had on tāngata whai ora and working with them to help build resilience and protective factors. Our Real services are focused on increasing the wellbeing of our taiohi and their whānau.
Career pathways
Investing in our kaimahi is important to us, we support our people to be their very best, operating in small family-like teams. Regular coaching and development conversations reflect the personal goals of our kaimahi and focus on how we can get the best out of each other.
It’s important to us that we have a culture of coaching and engagement and opportunities to grow. We regularly hold a range of training workshops and deliver our own peer development training programme, Kia Mataara. We provide ongoing support to our kaimahi to achieve the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing.
We’ve also just launched a Lived Experience and Peer Scholarship. This scholarship will allow a kaimahi with lived experience of mental health and/or addiction to further develop their career with professional training in this area.
